Every day, millions of buying decisions get made inside AI conversations: quietly, instantly, with no analytics trail and no second page. Aethon exists to make that channel visible, and then to make you present in it. We're the team behind Contextual AI Presence Mapping: the discipline, the platform, and the stubborn belief that brands deserve to know what AI says about them.
We come from marketing, not from search tooling. Years spent earning rankings, managing listings, fighting for position three. And we kept noticing the same thing in our own lives: we'd stopped searching. We were asking.
Asking AI like you'd ask a friend who happens to know everything: for a contractor, a lawyer, a place to take your parents to dinner. And the AI didn't return a list to evaluate. It returned a decision, basically made.
When we looked for tools to understand that shift, everything we found was search-era thinking with a new coat of paint: keywords, rankings, share of voice. Nobody was asking the real question: what context makes a model recommend one brand over another? So we built the thing that answers it. Read the full founding story
People bring moments to AI, not queries: “we just bought a house,” “I think I need a lawyer.” The recommendation decision happens before the question. If your tooling starts with keywords, it's measuring the wrong thing.
Knowing your score doesn't change your score. Every map Aethon draws ends in work that ships: pages, signals, fixes, hands-on or on autopilot. A report that doesn't end in action is a sunk cost.
A taqueria and a tax firm live in different conversations. One-size prompt lists flatter the tool, not the customer. We build per-industry, per-moment, per-market, because that's how AI actually recommends.
An industry built on visibility shouldn't hide its own pricing. Plans from $199/mo, no per-domain fees, no per-user surprises, no add-on fatigue. If we're asking you to trust our map, you should be able to read ours.
Working in marketing, we watch our own discovery habits move from search bars to conversations, and find no tooling that takes the shift seriously.
We incorporate Aethon AI, LLC and build the earliest presence maps: sweeping AI platforms with moment-based prompts, by hand at first.
We publish the definition of Contextual AI Presence Mapping and ship the platform behind it: presence maps, the Action Engine, and autopilot, across nine AI platforms and 20+ industries.
We're putting Aethon in front of brands and agencies every week. The category is young. The shift isn't slowing down. We're just getting started.
We're a two-person founding team building the platform we wished existed. Small on purpose, for now.
Daniel co-founded Aethon AI in November 2025 to close the gap between how marketers measure AI visibility and what AI is actually doing with their brands. Before Aethon, he spent eight years building digital marketing programs in New York across SaaS, financial services, and consumer brands. He holds an MPA from Baruch College and a BA in Public Relations from SUNY Oswego, and works out of New York.
LinkedInAlex co-founded Aethon AI as COO to scale the operating engine behind the platform. He brings fifteen years of leadership across healthcare and high-growth operations, where he has run teams of more than 1,000 and delivered $50M+ in revenue growth. At Aethon, he runs cross-functional execution, customer success, and the operating cadence that turns category strategy into shipped work.
LinkedInWhy “Aethon”? In Greek myth, Aethon is one of the horses that pulls the chariot of the sun, the thing that makes everything else visible. We thought that was about right.
We're a two-person team today, and when we hire, we'll want people who'd rather draw the map than follow it, across engineering, product, and go-to-market. If that's you, introduce yourself early.
The fastest way to understand what we're building is to run your own brand through it. A 30-minute walkthrough, your category live, across the platforms that matter.
